Ever wondered how the cosmos might be influencing your everyday life? Join me at the Venus Lounge as I unravel my own transformative journey through astrology and how it reshaped my understanding of the world. I stumbled upon the fascinating concept of mirroring and discovered how planetary movements like Mercury retrograde and moon signs are more than just celestial events—they echo through our personalities and interactions. This awakening led me to a profound realization: we're all interconnected, and the cosmic dance above us plays a key role in how we relate to one another.

Listen as I share personal anecdotes and insights on how astrology has shifted my approach to relationships and self-awareness. By exploring birth charts, we can untangle the web of energetic exchanges between ourselves and others, allowing us to navigate interactions with curiosity rather than judgment. These insights offer a new lens through which to view challenging relationships, transforming them into opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Together, let's embrace this cosmic perspective and break free from past conditioning, welcoming a more authentic and liberated version of ourselves.

Speaker 1:

Deepening with astrology, I came across, or really started to understand the concept of mirroring, but also just how we are influenced by certain things. So, on the macro level, I started to recognize oh hey, like this planet, you know, moving into a different sign, is affecting my personality right now, or the moon signs affecting my personality, or Mercury retrograde is affecting my personality and it's also affecting people around me. I started to notice all of these patterns and the more I noticed, the more I noticed and it kind of just got bigger and bigger. And it was probably one of the most fundamental like awakenings kind of is probably the best way to put it in my life where I was like wow, I'm not just here, kind of operating outside of everything. I actually am a part of everything and everything is connected to me and I'm connected to everybody else and everybody else is connected to me and everybody else is connected to everything. So it was a really big full circle moment. But what it also did was allow me to look at my relationships really differently and this is a big part of astrology that I really back and try to bring forward, you know, through my sessions or just with people in general when I'm speaking or chatting and that is that every single thing is connected to something. And I think, you know, we just went through a massive eclipse season. It was very connected to relationships relating in general.

Speaker 1:

And I think this theme is kind of coming up for me to speak about for a reason, because I think it's really important and I think it gives a different perspective on why things happen, but also a way to go about things that perhaps is a little less personal. And what I mean by personal. When you look at two people's charts, let's say, okay, I have a friend and she triggers me or something. And I've had this with a couple of sons in Leo. Sorry if you're a Leo listening, I swear it's not all Leos. So I've had a couple of friends who were sons in Leo and I thought, gosh, this person just really is like slightly irritating. And once I got to know my chart, once I got to know where each sign was in my chart, I've really been able to understand my internal reactions towards others and also other people's reactions towards me, towards others and also other people's reactions towards me.

Speaker 1:

I think I took things a lot more personally before I discovered astrology. There's definitely kind of a neutrality and expansiveness that comes along with astrology. You know, like when you think about the stars, you look up to the stars. It's a very expansive perspective when you're looking at something in that way or from that distance or view. Anyway, I'm getting philosophical.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, I really started to realize that there was this interplay of energies going on and it wasn't as simple as oh, she's irritating See you later which, you know, sometimes that is important. Sometimes we can't change or transform whilst around a certain energy. Sometimes the whole point of the energy is to actually get us to cut it off, but very nuanced, very, very, very nuanced, you know, when we cut people off, when we put boundaries up or not and I think oftentimes our ego would love for us to put up a boundary with somebody that irritated us, you know, kind of in order to stop us from learning ourselves and actually getting over something. If we went a little bit deeper and if we did open and let it in slightly or enough to ask what is this within them that is irritating me and why. It's definitely been one of the major ways that I've been able to transform and move some of my shadow energy or anger from my earlier parts of life and actually be able to alchemize my energy into something that is more free and more clear I guess from the past and from conditioning and, yeah, I guess more of a weighted experience or karmic kind of energy, feeling, experience and move into something that feels like me and feels more clear. And yes, I'm still, you know, I still feel cosmic energy and I still have things that you know I work on and all of that.

Speaker 1:

But I think it really has been a game changer and I really think that we could all benefit right now from having this understanding, having this realization that perhaps you know what other people do yes, it's them, but also, if they're coming into your perception, if they're a part of your life, what part of you is it connected to? So, with these Leos, for example you know Leo is the bottom of my chart I often used to find them quite not vain, but just like a little like not aware or not, perhaps completely self-aware and also aware of how their actions affect others. But that is really just when the Leo energy is a little bit more unconscious within the person. That energy was quite connected to my roots, my childhood family dynamics, in a way. So I guess what I'm getting at is every person, every sign, every energy. It triggers and activates us in a different way. That's not to say it's not just the person being unconscious and unaware, but it's also just to say that everybody is a learning tool. So I think it's really important for all of us and super helpful to just come to the realization that if there is something going on, it's likely connected to a part of your chart that is really important to learn about.

Speaker 1:
